How to Share Upload Studio Video Xbox Live
I'm in the aforementioned boat as the original affiche. Upload studio support was stopped and i tin can't even trim a video in the xbox app. I also take no way to bring together videos any longer. Why was this app removed,? I empathize in that location's no support, there hasnt been for years now only the app still worked well for the almost part. This really sucks and sharing clips and montages with friends is no longer possible on xbox.

Okay, so while investigating the issue, I came across a website that referred to a bulletin Microsoft had sent out to Xbox Live users.
(Embarrassingly enough, I didn't even find until I read near it on that site. And so, I checked my messages and there it was.
(This is the message I received on 9/21/2020)
"Thanks for playing on Xbox. This fall, we're replacing Upload Studio with a new share experience available via the Xbox app on mobile. You tin still trim your game clips from the Capture & share tab in the console guide, and with the new feel on mobile it's simple to manage your uploaded captures and share them to pop social media sites."
Under the message they provided a link you lot tin can achieve by clicking on "Launch site"

This is sooooooo frustrating. Xbox seems to have decided it'southward ok to continually remove functionality. Get-go, they removed the ability to share recorded PC gameplay. This also removed the ability to edit Xbox clips from PC. So, I was heavily reliant on trimming on the Xbox, but the "new" manner has never worked for me. 100% of the time, information technology gets stuck. So, I ever used Upload Studio. Now, that doesn't work either. I'm heavily involved in an Xbox Club, just now it's pointless. If I want to share, I have to share a ii minute clip, and tell them to go to a specific minute marker? STUPID! Also, at present I can't edit recordings directly from Xbox Live. So, once they are no longer on my Xbox, I'thou screwed (that'south assuming I even could utilize the broken, but method to trim, now).

I agree! I can't understand why, but it's every bit if Microsoft doesn't want Xbox to have user anymore. PC already has such an advantage in every way over xbox. Why have away the few little crappy features we had left!? Seriously! And Microsoft just keeps stripping it more & more. I use to dearest Microsoft but within the last few years, I'thou highly disappointed with their path they've decided to take catering solely to PC & the neglect they at present show for the loyal xbox users they've had for many years.

In regards to the editing.... have you found anything yet to edit your videos on xbox? I can't observe anything. I have the aforementioned issue when attempting to trim my videos, itll stop one-half way threw, my screen turns blackness & that's it. Upload studio wasn't the best, only it withal let us trim & edit with a scattering of editing options.
All I simply want is to trim & upload some gaming clips. That's information technology. Nix fancy, not trying to make a movie for YouTube....I only wanna postal service some clips on xbox. Lol
Why is that and so difficult? Why can't a multibillion dollar company make that happen? Or amend even so, why go along taking from Xbox? So pissed off with Microsoft. Lol. I really am.

I prefer playing on PC, only with a immature family unit, it'southward hard to get into a computer game. It's much easier to play a console game. My son loves sitting on my lap while I'grand playing games.
It would be annoying if they removed your preferred way of editing, but they've gone beyond that, and made it impossible to edit at all. That's more abrasive, it feels nearly evil.

I still have non plant a solution. I even reset my Xbox, assuming there was just something decadent, only after resetting, I still get the issue of the blackness screen after attempting to trim video clips. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I believe setting the recording resolution to 720p makes it a petty easier to edit using the "new" way. Tends to freeze/crash less ofttimes. But it still does information technology from fourth dimension to time.
I don't know what's so new nigh it, that crappy first-aid editor was there I think always. Upload Studio was fashion better. As someone said, not perfect but gave the states a lot of options. I'd await it to be updated for Series S/X, not buried like then many other useful or creative projects they abandoned.
